From seed to sanctification, preparing the soils of our soul with God’s word through intentional discipleship to see the fulfillment of Gods promises in our lives and the lives of those around us.
We are grounded in the Gospel, intentionally planting seeds of discipleship through God’s word. We love finding truths to grow us deeper in obedience and love as we share with others the gift of grace and the wonderful things He has done in our lives.
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age, while we wait for the blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. He gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people for his own possession, eager to do good works. Proclaim these things; encourage and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.”
Titus 2: 11-15
In a world where we can be anything, being conformed to the image of Jesus is what we should be. We all need a Jesus centered life, a life where Jesus is truly at the center of us!
It’s our calling.
We are called to be obedient to God by faith. The goal of the Gospel is a call of obedience of faith which is made possible because of Jesus but also it is expected of us because of Jesus. Only Jesus! The Gospel requires our obedience to Christ - to believe in Him and be saved and then tell others of His goodness so that they can know Him, too. The power lies in the seed - the Word of God - but in order to receive it, we must be cultivated and ready!
Why authenticity matters.
We believe God’s word is faithful, factual, forever. We believe that God is all knowing, always with us, and all powerful. He is one God who exists in three persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born to the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and was fully man and fully God. He was crucified for the sins of humanity and rose from the dead in three days and has ascended to Heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the throne of God. Jesus is coming back again as King of Kings to rule His kingdom here on earth. We believe that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to homestead in our lives, to make His home with us to sanctify us and make us more like Jesus. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we have the ability to war against the seen and unseen battles from the enemy in this world with the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead.
The Mustardseed Movement.
The Mustardseed Movement exists to sow seeds in the soils of God’s Kingdom with great expectations of His great ability to provide! We pray that the harvest will be great here as you work to cultivate the souls of your heart to grow out of good grounds, rooted deeply in the truths of His word. Our goal is to provide rich theological content that waters and nourishes your love for God believing that by the grace of Jesus we have the ability to let the Holy Spirit transform us from a natural state of sinfulness, sanctifying the seeds in our hearts to produce new life through our obedience by faith. It takes a lot of work to keep the soils cultivated and ready for the seeds to grow, but we believe that God is faithful when we walk out of obedience and commitment to Him.
